A number of women taking part in the IDG (India) Integrated Women’s Rural Development Project (IWRDP) have undergone training in handicrafts to increase their income potential. One of the products that women make are baskets, like the one shown in the picture, which sell at the local market. This helps women to have an income throughout the year and not to be reliant on agricultural income.
